Consultation to Teams and Organisations
I bring a deep understanding of complex organisational contexts drawn from twenty years of training hundreds of diverse teams around the world (from mental health, social care, youth justice, youth work, prison services, ambulance services, etc) in AMBIT, the approach I co-founded with Dr Peter Fuggle.
I use an AMBIT frame of reference to support my own thinking about organisational challenges - especially where there are complex relational team and networking issues - alongside my long experience of working at senior levels in the charity and statutory sectors, and of being involved in major development programmes such as the planned new-build Cambridge Children’s Hospital, for which I am Co-Lead for Mental Health.
I do not promise simple solutions, but commit to helping leaders and strategic thinkers to hold their balance in order to keep thinking alive in what are always challenging situations. I am known as an optimistic, creative and innovative thinker, and can work with leadership groups alone, or help them to engage wider staff teams to understand better the nature of the challenges they face, and the pathways to improvement that are open to them.
